District Council goes all out for performance standards.
This Local Authority contacted us when they decided to upgrade their existing benefit claim form. Using our standard form, which originated from the DWP approved version, we developed a bespoke version for them. With a change to corporate colour and Crystal Mark approval by the Plain English Campaign, the council were extremely pleased with the final result.
A complete package of support
As well as our services and products surrounding benefit forms, the council were aware of the support we gave for the design of supplementary forms and leaflets. Within a short space of time, we had begun work on a producing a complete range of information gathering forms along with a series of explanatory leaflets.
Professional marketing
We took a fresh approach to the design of the leaflets, establishing a co-ordinated, user-friendly style. This was intended to attract new and existing claimants to take the leaflets that provided information on benefits and services they may be entitled to, but were unaware of. With the addition of a “New Claim Pack” into which all the forms and leaflets needed to make a new claim could be inserted and presented to the claimant, we had helped the council to develop a contemporary solution with which to professionally market their services to their customers.

This forward thinking council, with its synchronized approach has significantly raised its profile with benefit customers and substantially enhanced its performance standards.
